Students will be able to read, eat and participate in recreational activities 3 days a week for free.
Oklahoma is currently ranked 49th in the country for education and our illiteracy rates are at an all-time high. Per the NAAL Report and population figures from the American Community Survey, 342,045 (12%) adults over the age of 18 functioned at the Below Basic literacy level, and 883,618 (31%) adults were at the Basic literacy level.
